When it becomes difficult to cook meals at home,
many parents eventually turn to store-bought baby food.
I made the same choice.
But choosing without any standards didn’t feel right.
So I started creating my own criteria.
The first thing I check is the ingredient list.
I try to avoid products with unnecessary additives
or ingredients that are hard to recognize.
For baby food,
simple ingredients feel like the better choice.
The second is the level of processing.
Highly processed foods may taste better,
but they are not always the best option for a child.
Whenever possible,
I choose food that feels closer to natural meals.
The third is my child’s reaction.
Even the best product is meaningless
if it doesn’t suit the child.
It’s important to observe
how the child reacts and digests the food.
I don’t believe there is a perfect choice.
But having clear standards
makes the decision a little easier.
If you’re facing the same situation,
maybe it’s time to create your own standards.
